Dear Sirs and Madams,

We would like to invite you to attend the 2nd Joint Preservation Congress on 4-5 September 2015 at the Sofitel Victoria Hotel in Warsaw. 

The subject matter of the Congress will focus on the treatment of early degenerative lesions in the knee joint. The discussion will cover preventive treatment connected with the application of knee joint surgical techniques reducing the risk of a future degenerative process. This year we would like to draw particular attention to the application of modern methods based on minimally invasive surgical techniques, biotechnology and stem cell transplants.

 The early stage of treatment after a knee injury is critical and extremely challenging both in terms of changing technical solutions and therapeutic views. However, its results have an impact on the future performance of the joint.

We aim to avoid or at least slow down the progress of a degenerative disease. The challenges faced by modern diagnostics and therapy continuously and dynamically evolve. Therefore, we understand the continuing need for verifying our views regarding this subject matter and for confronting them with all specialists involved. During the Congress the speakers will present modern, very often crucial views concerning the treatment of the degenerative disease and injuries of the knee joint. Theoretical lectures will be verified on the spot in practical applications in the presence of the participants during “live” surgery sessions.

Rehabilitation guarantees the success of all therapeutic procedures related to the knee joint and it can often effectively replace them. Nowadays, when the therapeutic process becomes more and more complicated, the cooperation of a complete medical team – consisting of a surgeon, radiologist, nurse and physiotherapist – is indispensable. Without a full understanding of every link in this chain, it is difficult to expect that the entire process of patient care will be successful. Therefore, we hope that all medical groups involved in treating Patients who suffer from knee injuries will attend.
